JoAnne Harris is from the heartland; now living in New York City. She has attended Concordia College in Moorhead, MN and Juilliard, in the evening division. She is adjunct faculty in the music department at the Stevens Institute of Technology,  a steering committee member of the SCL in New York, a member of Women in Music. She is grateful that growing up, Jeff Harris was one of those guys always playing a record.
